Yes, you heard it right, the Nokia 3310 has been relaunched. And why not? Just when you thought it was ready for the museums, they have revived that old, dearly loved classic. We can confidently say that it is the toughest phone on the market and still lives up to the reputation. Compared to the mobiles nowadays that can crack with just one unfortunate drop, the Nokia can withstand a beating.
Drop it, throw it or sit on it (which may be a bit uncomfortable) and it still holds up without a crack. Try doing that with your new phones.
Prepare to feel old. The phone was originally released in 2000. Yep, 17 years ago and is considered the daddy of all cellular phones leading the mobile revolution.
Its long battery life and indestructibility were its two strongest features not to mention that addicting snake game. You were either good at it or you wanted to throw the phone against a wall from frustration (maybe giving a plausible reason as to the phones’ immortality).
The new incarnation will be sold for €59 and plans to be revealed at Mobile World Congress later this month.
